Very comfortable hotel, breakfast buffet had a good range of foods tasty too. Unfortunately when we arrived Singapore was covered with a smoke haze from Indonesia which cleared after 3 days. That gave us the opportunity to do more sightseeing. The rooms were clean and tidy and staff very helpful. It was good to have a pool to be able to cool off in and the spa to relax in capedouglas

well i visited this hotel with my wife, the location of the hotel is just average as its a little inside road to the main road, this main road has lot of big malls though, but this hotel was very far from Little India, as proper Indian Veg and Non Veg Food is only available in Little India, so i suggest every Indian to take hotel nearby Little India for a good stay, well when we reach this hotel we come to know that all the standard rooms are occupied and my booking was not reached to them, but at reception an Indian lady helped us by giving us a club room/duplex room, the room was facing the swimming pool, it has ground floor with a dining, lobby, open kitchen & bathroom and first floor with big king size bed & big bathroom, we enjoyed our stay from the first day, as we hope for less and received extra without any extra payment. Well the buffet breakfast was good, but not according to Indians, we only had a problem of Indian food, otherwise everything else was worth our money aneeshbansal

York Hotel is a good location for the upscale Orchard Road area for a family of 4 (1 couple with 2 teen adults). Though a bit pricy but room is elegantly clean, spacious and comfortable. Nice, clean bathroom too. Though hotel is quite old already but well maintained. We didn’t stay much in the hotel as we were always out.. But the stay at night is worth. Gerry I

York Hotel’s location is near the Orchard Road where a lot of shopping malls are situated. We were comfortable in our room which was quite spacious. We were given a cabana near the swimming pool, with 2 levels wherein our bedroom was situated in the 2nd floor. The breakfast buffet was not that much since there were only a few choices. Most of the staff were not friendly and courteous, although when we required something from housekeeping, they immediately responded. Over-all, York Hotel is okay despite the seeming impersonal treatment of the staff there tonetmarquez_16

Nice-ish rooms, great location for everything on Sentosa Island. Right next to the Monorail which was a 1 minute walk outside the front of the hotel. Universal Studios is a 5 minute walk. The prices are way over the top though if I’m being honest. We paid just over $80sing once taxed had been added for breakfast for 2, which was very nice but def not worth $80. Didn’t eat there at night so can’t comment. LondonKevo

Stayed here using Universal Studio package. Nice lobby and reception area. Decent rooms converted from an old building, but the exterior and corridor still feel more like a dorm than an upscale hotel. Nice breakfast spread. The location is a good base to explore Sentosa island, but it is off from the Resort World attractions. Staff was helpful and friendly. towkaylim

My hubby and I went for a weekend staycation in celebration of our wedding anniversary. Being the June school holiday, the hotel is fully booked and therefore there was no early check-in available. Nonetheless, the bright and nice smelling lobby did peak us up when we first arrived. Staffs were friendly and we were given the ice-cream voucher without asking for it. As we seat outside the restaurant enjoying our ice-cream and determine where to head off next, we were greeted by a friendly counter staff who informed us that we were upgraded to the heritage suite! The room is nice and cozy but was a bit disappointed that we did not receive any cake in celebration of our anniversary. One thing that we find it a bit funny is that room service and mini-bar top up is by 2 separate staffs and therefore we have to open the door twice a day? Location and view of the hotel is fantastic… overall we still enjoyed the stay. Christy G

Our short stay at movenpick was fantastic. My husband and I were pleasantly surprised when the hotel upgraded us to the heritage suite and even delivered a complimentary anniversary cake. It was definitely a nice touch. Location of the hotel was great, right outside Imbiah station and the lobby was infused with a very nice smell fragrance. Best of all, the bed was so comfortable that we missed all our early morning activities as we didn’t want to get out of it  mizcathy
